Todd Richter Donates Over $5 Million to Kelley School: Establishing a Legacy
Wall Street’s prominent healthcare analyst, Todd Richter, a Kelley School alumnus (MBA, ’81), has pledged a staggering estate commitment valued over $5 million. This gift promises to amplify the ongoing work at the Kelley School in numerous ways through the establishment of the Todd Richter Fund.
The fund will bolster five principal endowments. It secures two professorships for faculty immersed in securities analysis, and extends graduate fellowships to keen Kelley students studying finance or securities analysis. Furthermore, it fortifies the Graduate Finance Department and the Dean’s Office, while also providing an innovative endowment to evenly split any remaining bequest residue across the four preceding designations.
Dean Daniel C. Smith applauds Richter’s tremendous contribution, underlining how his generosity reflects the values Kelley School cherishes. Richter’s philanthropic spirit stretches beyond monetary contributions. His mentorship, active research dialogues with professors, contributions to the Reese Fund board, and adjudication in case competitions are testament to his commitment to the institution. Dean Smith believes that the Richter Fund will inspire forthcoming Kelley School generations to engage with the School as passionately as Richter has.
